Moss Stitch & Cable Knit Hat Knitting Pattern - Seed Stitch and Cable Pompom Hat Knitting Pattern
£3.00
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PDF KNITTING PATTERN AND NOT A FINISHED ITEM.
Autumn is all about cosy knits and autumn leaves, this cable knit hat gives a soft, warm, and stretchy hat with a beautiful, intricate cable design. Faux fur pom-poms are all the rage and add a great flare to your project, alternatively this hat works well on its own as a slouchy beanie.
This PDF knitting pattern gives you the instructions you need to create your own hat. This pattern uses knit, purl, and cable stitches and is knit in the round. I like to knit in the round as that means no seams to sew but, if you prefer to knit flat and then sew up the seam, you can use regular knitting needles just make sure to purl the even rows.
This pattern is for an adult size hat, you can find the matching baby pattern in the Knitting Patterns section of my shop.
What you will need:
- 1 x 4mm, 40cm circular needles
- 1 x 5mm, 40cm circular needles
- 1 x set of 5mm double pointed needles
- 100g worsted weight / aran wool
- 1 x pompom of your choice!
- Crochet hook / large blunt needle for weaving in the ends
* if you chose to increases the size of the hat you will need to increase the amount of wool accordingly
